We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Structural Engineer with 5 to 15 years of proven expertise in EPCI offshore projects specifically focused on fixed platforms. The selected candidate will play a key role in the structural design and analysis of offshore structures ensuring alignment with project specifications safety standards and international codes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform structural analysis and design of offshore fixed platforms including jackets decks piles and appurtenances.
- Develop structural calculation reports design drawings material take-offs (MTOs) and technical specifications.
- Conduct global and local analyses using industry-standard software such as SACS or similar.
- Coordinate with other disciplines (piping electrical mechanical) to ensure structural design compatibility.
- Review vendor drawings fabrication procedures and construction methodologies for structural compliance.
- Provide engineering support throughout project phases including detailed design fabrication transportation and offshore installation.
- Ensure adherence to applicable codes and standards such as API RP 2A AISC DNV and ISO.
- Participate in design reviews risk assessments and client interface meetings.
- Address site queries and support resolution of structural issues during construction and installation.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 5-15 years of structural engineering experience in offshore EPCI projects with a focus on fixed platforms.
- Strong understanding of structural design principles for offshore environments including environmental loading fatigue and stability.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SACS and MathCAD.
- Familiarity with international design codes (API AISC DNV ISO).
- Good technical report writing and documentation skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
