- Develop Total Renewables Construction & Commissioning Management standards, procedures and policies to be implemented and complied with by the Project Companies for all Total Renewables projects under execution, including the development of framework agreements with Third Parties
- Analyse the Construction & Commissioning Management strategies and activities implemented by the Project Companies for the projects under execution and provide all the necessary support and advise to fill the potential gaps identified
- Customize and provide standardized Total Renewables Construction & Commissioning Management expertise to the Project Companies for all projects in execution to guarantee the proper implementation of the following actions and activities by the Project Companies:
- Developing and implementing Project’s Construction strategy, including split of works between main contractors
- Review and comment EPC Contractor subcontracting strategy, focusing on qualifying and approving main subcontractors according to the specific scope of works
- Support the Project Company in monitoring the EPC Project Construction performance and compliance with HSE, quality and planning requirements
- Provide guidance to the Project Company Construction & Commissioning Team (Project Company and Owner`s Engineer if applicable) to manage the works, including all required acceptance tests with both the EPC Contractor and the Offtaker.
- Communication of Total Renewables Construction & Commissioning procedure as well as Project Construction & Commissioning plan and its objectives to staff, Owner`s Engineer and EPC Contractor
- Ensure the implementation of construction performance focused approach, driving Construction with Commissioning requirements
- Ensure the early implementation of systems-focused construction to facilitate hand-over to Commissioning and TOP process
- Supporting all Consultants, Construction Supervision Consultants and subcontractors in the implementation of Construction & Commissioning Plans and procedures and the monitoring of their performance on all related matters
- Support Planning & Control Team in developing statistical reports on Construction & Commissioning performance (KPI), with close monitoring and detailed review
- Identifying and communicating lessons learned though the programmed lifecycle
- According to Projects’ progress, perform on regular basis Construction & Commissioning management review with the Project Companies and ensuring that proper actions plans are adapted and implemented by the Project Companies with respect to the implementation of Construction & Commissioning procedures, expediting of Engineering and Supply Chain Management by the EPC Contractor to support early Construction activities
- Define and agree with the Project Companies on a Construction & Commissioning Management audit program to be implemented for project in execution prior to key activities (site preparation, site studies, underground works, structural works, electrical works, energization, etc)
- Define EPC Contractors’ standard Construction & Commissioning management policies, procedures, organization and general documentation to be applied to Total Renewables projects under execution, including with the preparation of specific workshops
