Job Title: Fitout / Contracting Procurement Executive

Job Location: Dubai

Department: Procurement
Job Summary:

Responsible for assisting the procurement process within the Fitout/Joinery industry managing vendor relationships and ensuring the timely and costeffective acquisition of goods and services. This role requires strategic thinking strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Strategy:
    • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings specific to the Fitout/Joinery industry.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
    • Evaluate and select vendors based on quality price and reliability.
    • Negotiate contracts terms and pricing to ensure the best deals for the company.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws regulations and company policies.
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the procurement process.
  • Project Collaboration:
    • Work closely with project managers and other departments to understand their procurement needs.
    • Coordinate the delivery of goods and services to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Cost Management:
    • Monitor and manage procurement budgets.
    • Track and report on key metrics to assess the effectiveness of procurement strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement process.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and innovations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 45 years of experience in procurement within the Fitout/Joinery industry
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Experience with procurement software and systems.
  • Knowledge of industryspecific regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Extensive network of industry contacts and suppliers.
Must have worked in joinery/fitout manufacturing in Dubai for 34 years and must have strong knowledge of vendors and pricing in the industry
