Guest Relations & Seating Management:
- Greet guests with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
- Manage and coordinate table reservations efficiently.
- Maintain an organized and accurate seating plan to optimize table turnover.
- Handle special guest requests including VIPs and personalized dining preferences.
Reservation & Communication:
- Manage reservations via phone email and online booking platforms.
- Confirm and follow up on reservations to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate effectively with the restaurant team regarding guest preferences dietary restrictions or special occasions.
Customer Service & Hospitality:
- Provide guests with information about the menu restaurant specialties and promotions.
- Assist in handling guest complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain a high level of personal grooming and adhere to hotel uniform standards.
- Uphold the fivestar hospitality standards of the hotel by delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Administrative & Organizational Tasks:
- Keep the reception area clean organized and welcoming.
- Maintain and update guest records for future reference.
- Support the restaurant team in daily operations when needed.
- Follow health safety and hygiene regulations as per hotel policies.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent (a hospitality degree is a plus).
- Previous experience as a hostess in a luxury restaurant or fivestar hotel is preferred.
- Knowledge of reservation systems (e.g. OpenTable ResDiary) is an advantage.
