Who we are:

Al Marwan Group is a holding company established in 1978 Al Marwan Group has grown a strong diversified portfolio in Real Estate Development & Management Hospitality General Contracting and Heavy Machinery trading of brand new and used equipment for the Construction Mining Oil and Gas industries.

We are currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated Payroll Accountant to join our team.


Job Scope:

The Payroll Accountant will be responsible for managing the payroll process ensuring compliance with UAE laborlaws and regulations and maintaining accurate payroll records particularly for our construction projects and rental department.

Job Duties:

  • Manage the payroll process including processing payroll verifying payroll data and ensuring accurate and timely payment of employees.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and regulations related to payroll including tax withholding benefits and payroll deductions.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies in the UAE.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee data and maintain employee payroll records.
  • Communicate with employees regarding payrollrelated inquiries and issues.
  • Provide support for audits related to payroll and benefits.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve payroll efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist with other accounting and finance functions as needed.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting finance or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in payroll accounting preferably in the construction Industry.

Other Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of payroll accounting principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with payroll software and systems such as ERP and auto payroll system.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fastpaced environment.
  • Knowledge of UAE labor laws and payroll regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus.
  • Advantage:
  • Able to understand Arabic language.
