Position Overview:

As a Freight Forwarding Executive you will be responsible for managing various aspects of the shipping department ensuring smooth coordination of freight forwarding operations. Your role will encompass client relationship management communication with shipping lines and overseas agents and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of trade lanes. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Shipping Department Management:

• Coordinate and oversee daytoday operations of the shipping department.
• Ensure timely processing of shipments and adherence to schedules.
• Monitor the movement of goods and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.

2. Client Relationship Management:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Address client inquiries concerns and requests promptly and professionally.
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the shipping process.

3. Communication:

• Communicate effectively with internal teams shipping lines and overseas agents.
• Facilitate clear and concise communication regarding shipment detailsrequirements and updates.
• Utilize various communication channels including email phone and video conferencing.

4. Coordination with Shipping Lines and Overseas Agents:

• Collaborate with shipping lines to secure bookings and negotiate freight rates.
• Liaise with overseas agents to ensure seamless coordination of shipments at origin and destination ports.
• Address any issues or discrepancies with shipping lines or agents promptly and effectively.

5. Knowledge of Trade Lanes:

• Maintain a thorough understanding of trade lanes including key routesregulations and market dynamics.
• Stay updated on changes in trade policies tariffs and regulations affecting freight forwarding operations.
• Utilize knowledge of trade lanes to optimize routing minimize transit times and reduce costs.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Logistics Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Proven experience in freight forwarding or logistics preferably in a similar role.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Proficiency in using shipping and logistics software systems.
• Ability to multitask prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
• Detailoriented with strong problemsolving abilities.
• Knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with Incoterms and shipping documentation.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
• Willingness to work outside regular business hours when necessary.

Job Types: Fulltime Permanent

Pay: AED3500.00 AED4500.00 per month
