Senior Data Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our growing trading team. In this role you will play a crucial part in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisionmaking across the business. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust data infrastructure developing insightful reports and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for various projects.

Responsibilities

• Data Warehousing and ETL: Design develop and maintain a

  centralized data lake by extracting transforming and loading data from various sources including transactional databases CRM systems market data feeds and thirdparty APIs.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct indepth analysis of financial data to identify trends patterns and anomalies. Create regular and adhoc reports dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels including Clevel executives.
• Performance Tracking: Develop and implement metrics to track the performance of specific projects and initiatives. Monitor KPIs identify areas for improvement and provide datadriven recommendations to optimize outcomes.
• Automated Reporting: Design and implement automated reporting systems to provide timely and accurate updates to Clevel executives and other key stakeholders.
• Data Governance: Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality integrity and security.
• Collaboration: Work closely with various teams including trade desk operations and technology to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Statistics Computer Science

  or a related field.
• 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst in the financial services industry preferably with a brokerage firm.

• Good understanding of financial instruments and asset classes

• Knowledge of financial markets instruments and trading principles.

• Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation techniques.

• Experience with the following tools and programs:

  • Data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI)

  • Data warehousing technologies (e.g. Snowflake AWS Redshift)

  • AI and its applications in finance

  • Python or R for data analysis

• Excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
