We are seeking a dynamic Chief Investment and Business Development Officer for our client a boutique business and investment advisory firm in the UAE.
The ideal candidate will lead their investment strategy client acquisition and business development initiatives. This leadership role demands expertise in alternative debt products a robust network across financial institutions and a proven track record of building investor relationships and expanding distribution channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Investor Relations & Client Acquisition
Build and nurture relationships with institutional investors family offices and qualified lending clients to onboard investors for our Fixed Income platform. - Business Development & Distribution
Identify and establish partnerships with banks asset managers and financial institutions. Lead the development of distribution channels while effectively promoting the companys product offerings. - Investment Strategy & Client Engagement
Oversee investment activities review product strategies and provide clear investorfocused communication through FAQs and Key Information Documents (KIDs). Ensure alignment across internal teams to support business objectives. - Market Insights & Reporting
Stay ahead of industry trends monitor capital market developments and provide actionable insights to inform business strategy. - Sales & Marketing Strategy
Develop and implement a robust sales and marketing strategy for alternative debt products building the firms reputation and expanding its market reach. - Stakeholder & Regulatory Management
Manage relationships with regulatory bodies government entities and outsourced service providers to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven success in financial investment securitization or related fields with a focus on client acquisition and strategic partnerships.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal negotiation and market analysis skills with a deep understanding of fixedincome products and GCC financial markets.
- Proven ability to establish relationships with GCC institutional investors including Sovereign Wealth Funds asset managers banks pension funds and family offices.
