We are looking for a NPD Manager for one of top clients in the Food Industry details are as follows:

Title: NPD Manager

Segment: Desserts Ice creams Sauces candies Pastries cakes.

Location: Dubai UAE

Experience: 7 YEARS of experience min must have deep interest in innovation.

Summary: As the Manager of NPD you will work in collaboration with production sales quality and marketing teams to develop new products and improve existing products designed to meet the needs of consumers and customers. Responsible for conceptualising & curating highquality products the lead of NPD will have a strong knowledge of ingredient functionality products / processes.

• Number of idea generation/innovation/New Products commercialised.
• Product quality & feedback
• Product quality improvement through innovation
• Reengineering of existing product line

Responsibilities

• Design & develop projects to introduce new products improve product quality and functionality of existing products.
• Innovation from idea generation through proof of concept to commercialization while creating new products that lead to competitive advantage for the company.
• Work closely with Sales & Marketing teams towards New Product Development through R&D initiatives / activities to ensure products meet customer needs.
• Optimize formulations and recipe creations while maintaining / improving performance and / or cost savings.
• Ensure complete documentation on new and/or revised products including raw materials formulations process parameters QC tests labelling/Packaging etc.
• Establish appropriate shelf life and sensory testing plans in accordance with requirements and determine critical ingredient specification parameters and communicate these to Quality and Regulatory approvals.

Education Experience & Skills

Education: Bachelors degree in a relevant field along with necessary certifications. A degree in Food Science Food Technology culinary sciences will be preferred but not mandatory.

Experience: At least 7 years of experience in developing products in the desserts category including but not limited to Ice creams candidates pastries and cakes. The candidate should also come in with exposure of curating seasonal products for events or festivals.
