This role involves preparing a variety of baked goods desserts and pastries ensuring highquality standards in presentation and taste. The Chef de Partie will also assist in menu development supervise junior staff and maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to food safety regulations. Strong creativity attention to detail and teamwork skills are essential for success in this position.
Qualifications :
1. Education:
Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution specializing in pastry and baking.
2. Experience:
Minimum of 23 years of experience in a professional kitchen specifically in pastry and bakery roles.
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar supervisory role is preferred.
3. Skills:
Proficiency in various baking techniques pastry preparation and dessert presentation.
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
4. Creativity:
Ability to develop innovative recipes and dessert presentations.
5. Personal Attributes:
Strong leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Passion for pastry and baking with a commitment to continuous learning.
6. Certifications:
Food Handlers Certification or equivalent may be required depending on local regulations.
