Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading events company seeking a Project Accountant who will oversee projectrelated financial activities ensuring accurate documentation processing payments and managing project cash flows. This role demands strong attention to detail excellent organizational skills and effective collaboration with crossfunctional teams particularly at event sites. The Project Accountant will also be responsible for VAT compliance adherence to accounting principles and managing daily operations with precision.
Responsibilities:
Maintain precise financial records for projects and systematically organize related documents.
Prepare and arrange documentation for payment processing generate payment files and obtain necessary approvals.
Collaborate with team members to gather documents data and information essential for accurate financial reporting.
Prepare and regularly update the daily cash flow report for each project.
Compile and provide weekly updates on budget utilization.
Collect and report on revenue generation data and organize documentation for client submissions.
Manage supplier documents related to budget utilization for client submissions.
Participate in team meetings coordinate onsite payments and financial updates manage petty cash and ensure accurate revenue collection.
Oversee onsite revenue collection staff prepare daily sales reports and manage POS reports and cash collections.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in commerce.
Minimum 3 years of experience in the GCC preferably in service job or projectbased sectors.
Strong understanding of accounting principles VAT bookkeeping and daily operational accounting.
Exceptional organizational interpersonal and communication skills with proficiency in reporting and cash flow management.
