As a Kitchen Technician you are responsible for all Kitchen equipments maintenance as instructed by General Mechanical Supervisor while adhering to Hotel policies and procedures.
What you will be doing
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment are properly maintained and service to upkeep all equipment and to avoid breakdown
- Perform preventive maintenance and completes the turnover quickly and efficiently in order to satisfy and meet the Guest needs
- Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests and employees health and safety as well as protect and conserve the environment
- Respond to breakdowns of equipment and being available in case of emergency and applying the appropriate action as per Hotel policy and standards
- Comply with the hotel environmental health and safety policies and procedures
- Offer guidance to kitchen staff on best practices for equipment care to maximize efficiency and prevent damage.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 23 years of previous experience as a Kitchen Technician or in a similar position is desired
- Experience is the hospitality industry is preferred
- Technical expertise in repairing and maintaining kitchen equipment and appliances.
- Awareness of safety regulations and compliance standards for kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as a part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
- Flexibility in terms of shifts working hours
