You will be supporting the Distribution Manager on all Supply Chain activities related to Regional Distribution Centre operations. You will participate in crossfunctional activities/projects and assignments together with internal and external partners and continue to seek creative ways to improve the overall productivity of the organization and enhance customer experience.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE
Import / Export Warehouse and Domestic / Regional Transport Management Customer Experience:
- Interface with service providers to ensure ontime imports / exports of shipments whilst understanding and ensuring compliance to regulations.
- Interfacing with several of our service providers to ensure ontime imports and exports of shipments all aspects of warehousing & transportation operations (including inbound inventory management outbound reverse logistics local & regional deliveries) and other administrative activities to ensure our customers business requirements are met.
- Work closely with other departments / functions Customer Services Sales Material Management etc to ensure better services to our customers and on special requests.
- Work cross functionally use lean management tools adopt global standards / guidelines and sustainably solve root cause issues to achieve cost productivity efficiencies or service improvements.
- Translate business requirements into effective data visualizations to support strategic decisionmaking using tools like Excel & PowerBi.
- Coordinate performance reviews with relevant Logistics Service Providers and follow up on countermeasure implementation.
- Ensure cost management invoice control and conduct necessary audits & checks to ensure that risk mitigating controls are in place within all aspects of operations.
- Understand interpret and communicate global KPIs and performance management reporting.
In addition to the three classic main departments of materials warehouse and transport management the areas of service process and customer project management also ensure perfect logistics processes.

WHAT YOU NEED IS
- A degree in Business Logistics Supply Chain Industrial Engineering Operation Management or equivalent. Bachelors degree is required masters is plus.
- Strong Microsoft and PC skills; including PowerBi Excel PowerPoint
- Ability to use Excel for analysis
- Strong Analytical skills and mathematical aptitude required
- SAP knowledge preferred
- Must be detail oriented and well organised
- Comfortable working with strict deadlines and unpredictable environment
- Strong communication organisational and interpersonal skills
- High level of motivation customer focus and a continuous improvement mentality required
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Willing to work in operations as well as office environment
- Proficiency in English with strong collaboration and communication skills both written and verbal
