AC Technician

Main Responsibilities:

• Install maintain and repair air conditioning systems ensuring all work complies with industry standards.
  
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems ensuring timely and efficient troubleshooting and repairs.
  
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on AC systems identifying potential issues before they become major problems.
  
• Test system performance identifying any issues and resolving them through corrective actions.
  
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures both in terms of personal safety and equipment safety.
  
• Keep detailed records of work completed materials used and client interactions for proper documentation.
  
• Respond promptly to service requests providing professional and efficient service to minimize downtime for clients.
  

Essential Qualifications:

• High school diploma or technical certification in HVAC systems or relevant field.
  
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience as an AC technician (home country experience acceptable).
  

Skills Required:

• Expertise in installing maintaining and repairing various types of air conditioning systems (residential commercial and industrial).
  
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to HVAC systems including both mechanical and electrical aspects.
  
• Knowledge of HVAC components such as compressors refrigerants and other system parts.
  
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and standards related to HVAC systems.
  
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints wiring diagrams and technical manuals for installations and repairs.
  
• Effective communication skills to explain issues and repairs to clients.

• Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments including outdoors and in high temperatures.
  
• Problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
