Senior Procurement Officer - Top Ports and Marine Contracting

The Senior Procurement Officer is responsible for managing the procurement process including sourcing suppliers negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. They will collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop procurement strategies and optimize cost savings. This role requires strong analytical and negotiation skills as well as knowledge of procurement best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement policies procedures and guidelines.
• Identify potential suppliers and conduct supplier evaluations and audits.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand and forecast procurement needs.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely and costeffective delivery of goods and services.
• Manage and maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in procurement.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in supply chain management business administration or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Proficient in using procurement software and tools.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and ethical standards in procurement.
• Industry preference: Marine Industry/ Construction/ Contracting.
