Hiring for a large cryptocurrency company in Abu Dhabi.



Job Summary:

As the Chief Policy Officer for our cryptocurrency company you shall lead the development and management of policy initiatives that support the companys strategic direction while ensuring compliance with global regulatory frameworks. The CPO will act as the principal policy strategist advisor and advocate representing our companys interests with regulators industry associations and other stakeholders. In concert with senior leadership the CPO will articulate policy positions and communicate them effectively to a wide array of audiences including government entities the public and internal teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development and implementation of the organizations public policy and government relations strategy.
  • Advise the CEO and senior management on policy matters to guide corporate strategy ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies worldwide.
  • Stay abreast of international federal and state regulatory developments that affect the cryptocurrency industry and impact the business.
  • Advocate for favorable policies regulations and standards that will influence the cryptocurrency market and digital assets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders policymakers regulatory bodies and industry associations to monitor and influence policy developments.
  • Prepare analyses reports and recommendations regarding policy issues potential business impact and advocacy strategies.
  • Represent the company in various forums including policy roundtables public hearings industry events and talks with regulators.
  • Coordinate with internal legal compliance and risk management teams to align the corporate policy approach with overall risk management strategies.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for government inquiries and provide guidance on political and legislative matters.
  • Educate internal and external stakeholders on complex policy issues and the company s public policy positions.
  • Work with marketing and public relations teams to communicate policyrelated messages to external audiences.



Requirements


  • Proven experience in a policy role ideally within the cryptocurrency industry fintech or a related field.
  • A solid grasp of the structure and inner workings of government legislative processes and international regulatory bodies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the area of cryptocurrency blockchain technology and financial regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to clearly articulate policy positions in written and oral formats.
  • Exceptional ability to influence and work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders including government officials regulators executives and industry peers.
  • Strong leadership and decisionmaking capabilities.
  • Excellent networking skills.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with atleast 4 years of experience in the related field.
  • Bachelor or Master s degree in Public Policy Law Business Administration or a related field.


A minimum of a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field is required. An MBA or master's degree in marketing or branding is advantageous. Extensive experience (often 5-10+ years) in marketing, branding, or communications roles, with a significant portion of that experience ideally being at a managerial or a strategic level. Proven track record of leading a team and driving successful branding initiatives. An in-depth understanding of the cryptocurrency sector, blockchain technology, and digital marketing trends. A strong portfolio showcasing successful branding projects and campaigns. The ability to develop and implement high-level brand strategies that align with overall business goals. A creative mindset vital for guiding brand identity and marketing materials. Proficiency in analyzing brand performance metrics and market data. Excellent written and oral communication abilities, often including public speaking and PR skills. Capability to adjust strategies quickly in a highly volatile and rapidly changing market. Expertise in digital marketing techniques, social media, SEO, content marketing, and understanding how to leverage them for branding. Strong project management skills to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously. Experience in managing relationships with various stakeholders including partners, vendors, and internal teams.
