- As a Geologist with our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all projects are delivered to meet our client's goals, making a direct impact on our success.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
- Oversee and develop lower-level staff to advance their knowledge and career path.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
- Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Prepare drawings, reports, and permit applications.
- Make independent decisions on scientific problems and methods, plan and coordinate work, and represent us at meetings and conferences.
- Office-based tasks, including GIS, mathematical calculations, and report writing.
- Business development, including proposal preparation, meeting with clients, and attending industry-related conferences/trade shows.
- Receive technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans or projects.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Geology is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant environmental experience, including remediation design, Florida regulations, and standard operating procedures.
- P.G. registration or the ability to obtain it within six months is required.
- A valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing is required.
