Child Supervision:Monitor and supervise the safety of children in their care.Ensure children are always in a safe and secure environment.Daily Care:Attend to the basic needs of children including feeding diapering and assisting with toilet training.Help children maintain good hygiene such as hand washing and grooming.Activity Planning and Execution:Plan and implement ageappropriate activities and educational programs that stimulate childrens physical emotional and intellectual growth.Organize activities that promote social interactions and foster a sense of community among children.Developmental Support:Support childrens emotional and social development encouraging understanding of others and positive selfconcepts.Observe and record childrens progress behavior and development.Health and Safety:Follow all health and safety protocols to prevent injuries and the spread of illnesses.Administer basic first aid if necessary and maintain first aid certification.Parent Communication:Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their childs progress needs and any concerns.Provide daily updates on activities and incidents.Environment Maintenance:Maintain a clean organized and inviting environment for children.Ensure toys and equipment are sanitized regularly.Training and Professional Development:Attend training sessions and workshops to remain updated on child care practices and regulations.Continuously seek to improve skills and knowledge related to child care.Qualifications:Education:High school diploma or equivalent.Certificate or diploma in early childhood education or child care is preferred.Experience:Previous experience working with children in a professional setting is preferred.Familiarity with early childhood development principles.Skills:Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Patience creativity and a nurturing attitude.Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.First aid and CPR certification.Personal Attributes:Reliable and punctual.Professional and caring demeanor.Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.Language:Proficiency in English is essential.Knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage.Additional Considerations:Work Environment:Typically based in daycare centers nurseries or private homes.May involve working long hours including early mornings evenings and weekends.Cultural Awareness:Understanding of the cultural and social norms in the UAE.Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of children parents and colleagues.
