Security guard

The Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers employees and visitors by patrolling and monitoring premises controlling access and responding to emergencies. This role requires vigilance physical fitness and the ability to handle various security situations calmly and effectively.Key Responsibilities:Patrol and Surveillance:Patrol assigned areas to ensure the security of premises including buildings grounds and parking areas.Monitor surveillance systems and alarms to detect and respond to suspicious activities or emergencies.Conduct regular inspections to identify security risks and maintain security protocols.Access Control:Control access points and entrances by verifying identification and permits.Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people into restricted areas.Ensure all visitors and personnel adhere to security procedures and guidelines.Emergency Response:Respond promptly to alarms and distress calls including incidents of theft fire medical emergencies or disturbances.Provide assistance during emergencies such as evacuations or lockdowns.Report incidents to the appropriate authorities and maintain incident reports.Customer Service:Provide a visible presence to deter unauthorized activity and ensure a safe environment.Assist customers employees and visitors with inquiries directions or other securityrelated issues.Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with the public.Reporting and Documentation:Write detailed and accurate reports documenting incidents observations and actions taken.Record information such as property damage theft or unusual occurrences.Security Equipment and Maintenance:Operate security equipment such as surveillance cameras radios and metal detectors.Conduct routine checks and maintenance of security equipment to ensure functionality.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Security Guard or in a related field preferably in the UAE.High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in security operations is advantageous.Excellent physical condition and stamina to stand walk and patrol for extended periods.Strong observation and surveillance skills with attention to detail.Ability to handle stressful situations and emergencies calmly and responsibly.Effective communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages may be beneficial.Additional Requirements:Knowledge of security protocols and procedures.Familiarity with UAE laws and regulations related to security operations.Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings weekends and holidays.Salary and Benefits:Salary for Security Guard positions in the UAE varies depending on experience and employer.Benefits typically include health insurance annual leave and other allowances as per company policy.
