HSE Officer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Policy Implementation: Implement and enforce HSE policies procedures and guidelines in compliance with Dubai RTA regulations local laws and international standards.
   
2. Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard identification to identify potential safety and environmental risks. Develop mitigation strategies to eliminate or minimize these risks.
   
3. Safety Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards identify unsafe conditions or practices and implement corrective actions as necessary.
   
4. Training and Awareness: Organize and conduct HSE training programs and workshops for project personnel to increase awareness and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
   
5. Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into incidents accidents near misses and environmental spills. Analyze root causes and recommend preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
   
6. Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures. Conduct drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of emergency response protocols.
   
7. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of HSE activities including inspection reports incident reports training records and environmental monitoring data. Prepare and submit periodic reports to management and regulatory authorities as required.
   

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety Environmental Science Engineering or a related field.
  
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH IOSH or equivalent are highly desirable.
  
• Minimum of 35 years of experience in HSE management preferably in construction projects within the UAE particularly in Dubai RTA projects.
  
• Indepth knowledge of Dubai RTA regulations UAE HSE laws and international HSE standards.
  
• Strong communication leadership and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and collaborate with diverse teams.
