Key responsibilities (to name a few):
Responsible for the receipt, inspection, handling, stocking, identification and issue of materials
Maintenance of all documents and records of all dealings pertaining to internal purchase, transportation, storage and issues.
Maintenance of effective communication with management, suppliers and other related agencies.
Quarantining of defective/short materials away from the stock.
Manage stocking levels to ensure that client orders are fulfilled in a timely manner and at the same time ensuring that all stock levels are not allowed to grow out of proportion with the business.
