Job Description:
Your responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing sales data and inventory levels to forecast demand for products across different stores and regions.
- Identifying trends and patterns in customer buying habits to inform purchasing decisions.
- Collaborating with buyers and merchandisers to develop procurement strategies and negotiate pricing with suppliers.
- Monitoring inventory levels and identifying potential stockouts or overstocks to ensure efficient inventory management.
- Working with logistics providers to optimize transportation routes and delivery schedules.
- Analyzing supply chain data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
- Implementing and maintaining efficient inventory control systems.
- Staying uptodate on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain analysis or a similar role within a retail or fastpaced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel SQL).
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to identify and develop solutions to supply chain challenges.
