QUANTITY SURVEYOR

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The ideal candidate will have experience in quantity surveying within the design and construction industry with a focus on high rise tower buildings residential commercial etc. As a Quantity Surveyor you will play a key role in project cost management budgeting procurement and contract administration.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducting cost estimates quantity takeoffs and cost planning for design projects.
• Managing project budgets and monitoring costs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Procuring materials subcontractors and services in line with project requirements and budgets.
• Administering contracts including preparing tender documents evaluating bids and negotiating contracts.
• Providing cost advice and recommendations to project teams and clients.
• Conducting cost control and value engineering exercises to optimize project costs.
• Preparing and presenting cost reports cash flow forecasts and financial analyses.
• Collaborating with architects engineers contractors and other stakeholders to ensure project cost efficiency and compliance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must be Immediately available and based in UAE.
• Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Civil Engineering or related field.
• 57 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the design and construction industry preferably in mention specific sectors.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools (e.g. CostX Bluebeam Excel).
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts procurement processes and cost management principles.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Professional certification (e.g. MRICS) is a plus.
