Application Developer - Petrolead Oil Services

Job Brief:

We are seeking a qualified and highly to play an affective role in developing the companys departments required applications. Candidate should have an excellent ability in defining software requirements design and implementing functional software solutions by writing code in excellent level of understanding and use of several programming languages.

Candidate should have extensive software development experience and familiarity with agile methodologies as well as a deep understanding of programming languages and databases.

In addition of collaboration with the applications team candidate should promise to share his skills experience information as well mentoring and providing guidance to the applications team (including junior members) in performing tasks according to the modern methods/approaches of application development and to follow trends in implementing methodologies by which ensuring to promote knowledge transfer and sharing information with colleagues and applications team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Understanding and User departments needs by identifying requirements properly and designing

prototypes writing code performing testing.

• Translates EndUsers requirements into application features and ensures the timely delivery of fully

functional software applications.

• Have an excellent knowledge of several programming languages to writing highquality clean and

flawless code to program complete applications within preset deadlines and scheduled time frame as well

ensuring the development of fully functional applications that meet specific requirements.

• Collaborating with the development team and other IT applications team to set specifications for new

applications.

• Design creative prototypes according to specifications.

• Conduct functional and nonfunctional testing.

• Perform and guide the unit and integration testing for applications during development.

• Develop technical documents that represent application design and code accurately.

• Perform troubleshooting and debugging of applications.

• Examining and evaluating current systems and perform or leading the reprogramming update and

adding new features as needed.

• Identify and resolve recurrent software problems and solve process inefficiencies and/or eliminate the

underlying causes.

• Participate effectively in optimizing current Software Systems across Akakus departments and driving

effective implementation and integration to support ICTs goals.

• Participate and provide advice/consultation on new software selections.

• Contact and communicate with users to track and explore additional requirements and required features.

Required Skills:

• A very good knowledge and proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Java Script

Python C family of languages (C C C#) as well HTML.

• Must have an excellent knowledge that enables him to work in both as FullStack Developer

(Frontend and BackEnd Developer).

• Have an excellent knowledge of several programming languages.

• Excellent experience with relational databases such as SQL MySQL PostgreSQL is highly required

including a good knowledge of database security as well a knowledge of working with other

database systems that dont use SQL is preferable.

• In addition to the above required skills the Candidate must be skilled in Team Collaboration

ProblemSolving Algorithm Design & Analysis and have strong communication skills.

• Should have a strong/excellent knowledge in software design development implementation and

Software Development Lifecycle.

• Ability to work in a very dynamic team environment.

Education Qualification and Work Experience:

• Bachelors in computer science Programming Computer engineering or relevant fields or;

• M.S. in Software Engineering with a minimum of three (3) years experience.

• Minimum five (5) years of work experience in software design development or implementation.

• Proven work experience in programming languages such as Java and Java Script Python C family

of languages (C C C#) as well HTML or;

• Certified Application Developer is preferable.

• Experience working across organization units as a Business Analyst or Consultant.

• Have an analytical mindset and problemsolving skills.

• Certified Application Developer is preferable.
