Primary Responsibilities:
- Partners with the Nestle USA (NUSA) Internal Communications Team, HR, and the Learning and Culture Teams to connect and collaborate on efforts, helping to ensure cross-team cohesive messages and strategies.
- Lead, develop, and execute strategic internal communications programs that align with Nestlé’s corporate business priorities and shapes our culture.
- Lead culture communications initiatives and programs that reinforce our values and promote a positive work environment.
- Partner with our People Analytics Team to review data insights to drive targeted and intentional strategies to grow the employee experience.
- Supports enterprise-wide storytelling, using data insights, business priorities, and employee feedback.
- Supports execution of company-wide culture events.
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervision Received:
- Direct supervision is given from the Senior Manager, HR and Culture Communications. Additional supervision is given by the Vice President, Corporate Communications.
Supervision Given:
- No direct reports. May provide direction to partner communications agencies and/or temporary employees on an occasional basis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) is required.
- Minimum of 6 years in a communications, or communications as part of broader change management role, in similar or larger size organization.
- Experience with coaching and working closely with senior leaders.
- Experience in event planning with attention to detail.
- Experience in graphic design and simple video editing to share messages and bring fresh perspectives and creativity to drive maximum engagement preferred.
Skills:
- Ability to connect business strategy to integrated communications campaigns and tactics.
- Well-developed storytelling skills; ability to write quickly and clearly for consumer communications, social media, video, town halls, etc.
- Excellent collaboration ability with people at all levels, especially senior leaders
- Effectively handles pressure from multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Confident, collaborative, self-sufficient leader who has a real passion for communications.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with great judgement, and the ability/confidence to drive coverage, conversation, engagement, and relevance.
- Understand nuances, comfortable working in ambiguity.
- Excellent (and vigilant) editing and alignment skills.
