Job Purpose:

The Job holder will assist the department for achieving finance department objectives and he should.

Possesses job technical knowledge and appropriate application of principles and procedures for

execution of effective professional FINANCE & ACCOUNTING activities that serve JAM GROUP.

  1. Directs and supervises the activities of the accounts receivable function.
  2. Directs and supervises the activities of month end &Year end closing.
  3. Supervise Accountants and Cahiers in their daily tasks.
  4. Monitoring accounts receivable and timely reconciliation of amount paid by customers and suppliers.
  5. Monitoring bank position and asset of bank reconciliations and posting of bank reconciliation related transactions in system.
  6. Monitoring JAM Group accounts and ensure balances are tally and report the variances if any.
  7. Create and manage master file and index of Legal customers with update and followup status with stakeholder.
  8. Participate in the preparation of the needed reports related to accounts receivable (daily weekly monthly and annually on time for effective management decision making.
  9. Participate in the external and internal audit requirement and needed reports
  10. Prepares the required reconciliation on regular basis.
  11. Maintain accurate records and control reports.
  12. Ensure all supporting documents are completed and getting necessary approvals for all transactions.
  13. Posting AR transactions based on company policy and procedures & adherence to management directives.
  14. Follow up matters with other departments to ensure smooth operations and efficiency.
  15. Implementation of company policy and procedures & adherence to management directives
  16. Work on external & internal audit requirements & testing.
  17. Risk mitigation and process development.
  18. Perform other duties and assignments from the Management with flexibility of duty time as and when required.




Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in accounting.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in accounts department.
  • Well experience and knowledge in MS Office and advanced in using Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills and office management skills.
