Quant Developer Back End - Mark Williams

The Role:

The Candidate will be responsible for the development and deployment of user interfaces within quantitative trading platforms utilizing React. They will contribute to building robust and scalable frontend systems capable of managing extensive datasets. Collaboration with compliance officers to align technical specifications with regulatory requirements will be essential. Additionally the role involves optimizing application performance and fostering effective communication with various stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and execute user interfaces for quantitative trading platforms using React.
• Construct frontend systems capable of managing large datasets efficiently.
• Ensure seamless integration between UI and backend services quantitative models and data analysis tools.
• Collaborate with compliance officers to interpret regulatory requirements into technical specifications.
• Support compliance team in resolving alerts and issues and assist in report

preparation for audits.

• Enhance application speed efficiency and scalability.
• Implement React techniques like codesplitting lazy loading and efficient rendering.
• Utilize profiling tools to analyze and enhance frontend performance.
• Gather requirements and feedback from front office staff technology teams and other stakeholders.
• Communicate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders effectively.
• Engage in crossfunctional projects and initiatives as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in UI development particularly with React.
• Proficiency in JavaScript HTML5 CSS3 and relevant web technologies.
• Prior experience in financial trading or quantitative fields is advantageous.
• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail are essential.
