JOB DESCRIPTION:
- This position will be directly reporting to the Senior Product Manager and Sales Director.
- To manage product portfolio plan and specs & price positioning analysis manage existing model upgrade and new model development & homologation project manage market & Segment analysis promote the product competence to increase market share and sales.
KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES EXPECTED FROM THE ROLE:
- Support the product portfolio plan and price positioning in Middle East and North Africa region.
- Collect track analyses segment level dynamics (competitor model specs prices gotomarket activities sales performance future launch intelligence Strength Weakness Opportunities Threats) and translate.
- Accurate position of the brands products and timely grasp of consumers cognition and attitude of the products to develop the company product positioning and operation strategy of the next step.
- Prepare and maintain database of reports and presentations for internal and external forums.
- Analysis of the characteristics performance quality price appearance of the launched products compared with similar products to make effective analysis and improvement opinions.
- Support to Make the effective analysis for the future market size and market situation of launched new products and forecast the whole development trend.
- Support to prepare Competitor Product and Price analysis for HQ reporting.
- Support to create detailed PVA (Perceived Value Analysis) for every region to check unique requirement.
- SWAT analysis of each product and brand.
- Support in Handle product homologation issue.
- Support in Handle product training and test drive event.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS:
- Bachelor s Degree in Automotive Engineering or any related field.
- Minimum of 5 years product work experience in Automotive industry.
- Ability to work in collaboration with crossfunctional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to develop a strategic product plan.
- Understanding both internal and external problems and finding innovative solutions for the broader market.
- Working efficiently in a demanding collaborative global organisation and effectively interacting with technical teams and business stakeholders in several international locations.
- Communicating crossfunctionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings both in person and in writing.
- Good written and spoken communication skills in English.
