This role is instrumental in shaping the future of our organization by implementing continuous improvement strategies and managing Continuous Improvement Coordinators in MIP/Lean Principals.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Continuous Improvement Manager - Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for the following

• Leading and managing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and overall business performance.
• Analyzing operational processes, identifying bottlenecks, and developing effective solutions to eliminate inefficiencies and reduce waste.
• Implementing lean manufacturing principles and other industrial engineering methodologies to improve operational performance.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand operational challenges and develop strategic improvement plans.
• Conducting training sessions to educate team members about continuous improvement strategies and techniques.
• Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of implemented improvement initiatives, making necessary adjustments to ensure maximum benefits.
• Participating in the development and execution of strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Providing technical guidance and support to team members as needed.
  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Continuous Improvement Manager - Industrial Engineer position should possess the following

• A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial engineering role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in leading and managing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MIP (Manufacturing Improvement Process) or equivalent.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for identifying inefficiencies and developing effective solutions.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and other industrial engineering methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their best.
• Proficiency in using computer software and applications relevant to the role, such as CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and MS Office Suite.
