Informatica Developer

Responsibilities:

• Gather requirements and business process knowledge in order to transform the data in a way thats geared towards the needs of end users
  
• Design implement and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction transformation and loading activities
  
• Collaborate with all developers and business users to gather required data and execute all ETL programs and scripts on systems and implement all data warehouse activities
  
• Work on data models transformation scripts and pipelines while collaborating with business users and peers.
  
• Ensure that the data architecture and design is scalable replayable and maintainable
  
• Documentation on design content Unit Testing activities.
  
• Monitor all business requirements and validate all designs and schedule all ETL processes and prepare documents for all data flow diagrams.
  
• Perform root cause analysis on all processes and resolve all production issues and validate all data and perform routine tests on databases and provide support to all ETL applications
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Proficient in design and development of Data pipelines/ Integrations jobs
  
• Experience in Informatica Power Centre
  
• Extensive Experience in Python data transformation
  
• Experience in constructing logical and physical data modelling to build the Data Warehouse / Data Lake
  
• Good Experience in handling the SQL Index Partitioning distribution etc.
  
• Extensive experience in ETL methodology for performing Data Profiling Data Migration Extraction Transformation and Loading using ETL tools
  
• Good knowledge on data Data governance Data Quality etc.
  
• Experience in CICD deployments will be an advantage
  
• Knowledge of NoSQL and Big Data technologies will be advantage.
  
• Experience with cloud services will be an added advantage
  
• Organisational skills: time management and planning
  
• Must have good analytical and communication skills.
  
• Ability to pick up new data tools and concepts quickly
