ESG Analyst Equities

The Client An established Asset Management business with global reach, running multi asset funds. The Role The ESG Analyst will work closely with the Asset Management firm’s Portfolio Manager’s to engage them with cooperating on the construction and enhancement of ESG processes across the Equity range of funds. The ESG Analyst is to perform assessments following the internal framework and will establish agendas and plans for companies in close partnership with Equity Investment teams, as well as engaging with companies and stakeholders to address ESG issues. The ESG Analyst will add to producing and updating Asset Class related documentation (ex. Active Ownership Reports); as well as contributing to Stewardship reports, including the UK Stewardship Report and PRI Transparency Report. The ESG Analyst will support investment teams dealing with client inquiries and taking part in sales meetings. The ESG Analyst will be expected to contribute to the regular publication of newsletters and leadership content. The Candidate 1-4 years’ experience already within a role that is ESG related within Financial Services, with a solid understanding of ESG/SRI financial markets and investment processes. Asset Management / Investment Management background would be beneficial. An interest in Equity investing. A university degree in Finance or Economics. Experience in controlling structured and unstructured data sets would be desirable. Strong IT skills in particular, Python and Power BI – would be beneficial
