Job Description

Group Compliance provides the framework for consistent and effective compliance management across the Emirates NBD Group businesses. To build an independent unit that:

• Undertaking enhanced due diligences for periodic and trigger reviews and risk-based Compliance Monitoring to ensure the Bank’s policies and procedures are being complied.
• Maintains the reporting MIS for the team and ensures that cases are assigned and tracked for review and conclusion.
• Aging and Overdue cases are to be listed in internal watch list and/or Exit and/or SAR raised based on the trigger risk assessment.
• Responsible for ensuring that reviews on all Internal SARs are recorded, reviewed and tracked for conclusion.
• Makes risk assessments and helps the management to make informed decision on investigations conducted.
• Escalates to management significant non-compliance and report breaches, issues and concerns.
• Identifies, assesses and monitors compliance risks (including managing the Group’s AML/CTF and Sanctions Risks)
• Work proactively with business line contacts and management toward ensuring that effective and efficient compliance risk management solutions are identified and implemented.
