Business Intelligence and ETL Developer

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and data needs, translating them into technical solutions for data integration, transformation, and reporting.

2. Design and develop ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it to meet business rules and requirements, and load it into data warehouses or data lakes using ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS).

3. Develop and maintain data pipelines, workflows, and automation scripts to streamline data ingestion, processing, and loading tasks, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and timeliness.

4. Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data quality and consistency, identifying and resolving data anomalies, errors, and discrepancies.

5. Develop and maintain data models, dimensional schemas, and data marts to support reporting and analytics requirements, optimizing data structures for efficient query performance and analysis.

6. Design and develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView) to enable data-driven decision-making and provide insights to stakeholders.

7. Collaborate with data analysts, business users, and IT teams to understand reporting requirements, gather feedback, and iterate on reporting solutions to meet evolving business needs.

8. Document technical specifications, data mappings, and ETL processes, and provide support and training to end users as needed.

9. Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in data integration, ETL development, and business intelligence, and share knowledge and insights with team members.
