Quality Assurance

In conjunction with the Line Manager develop and execute company s quality program procedures in line with customer ISO and AS systems and procedures.

Responsible for New product development FAI (First Article Inspection) as per AS91002 understanding new customer drawings and developing a part & Preparation of Quality plan Inspection plan/reports etc.

Responsible for Internal Quality Audits Process Audit & Product Audit implementing processes & procedures such as problemsolving techniques to facilitate robust quality management systems process optimization & control.

Partners with Line Manager in preparing quality assurance and control budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions with consideration for aeronautic quality requirements.

Attending daily Cross functional Team meeting & Material Review for internal defective part to find a RCA with a proper Tool and Generating the Monthly quality metrics to easily monitor and assess the performances

Work with procurement to integrate aeronautic quality standards as part of the Service Level Agreement for core suppliers and where appropriate assess supplier return products with failure analysis. Issue and manage supplier Corrective Action Reports.

Work with the design team and participate in product change control activities devise and ensure implementation of quality plans within component drawings and assist the design team in ensuring our products comply with relevant aeronautic regulatory standards.

Work with Design on new component introduction alternative raw materials tooling requirements test plans and product qualification requirements particularly emphasizing aeronautic quality parameters.

Regularizing the project documents like Procedures Work Instructions and inspection records deviation records rejection records for Detail components/Subassemblies of Aero structures parts.

Investigate customer complaints and deficiency reports both pre and postdispatch complaints regarding product performance specifications and reliability and provide identification of causes to appropriate activities.

Work with production management and Quality team to provide feedback on qualityrelated issues and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action particularly in the context of aeronautic quality standards.

Partners with Production Management to apply pertinent Six Sigma Green/Black Belt attributes and lean manufacturing techniques as appropriate to the business objectives with a focus on aeronautic quality improvement.

To aid Line Manager in all aspects of QA activities related to internal audits as well as external audits and reviews.

Manage maintain and update all quality accreditations held by the company and engage with external auditors both from the certifying bodies as well as from principal clients to ensure compliance with international aeronautic quality standards.

In conjunction with the Line Manager design and implement aeronautic quality training programs for all facility personnel in quality awareness and ensure strict adherence to aeronautic quality standards.

Keep abreast of the latest developments in the field of aeronautic quality assurance and update quality specifications and standards to gain a competitive edge.

Ensure that all records and documents are up to date and have full traceability and retrieval at all times and that all processes procedures & activities comply with ISO and management procedures with additional attention to aeronautic quality standards.

Ensure compliance to Safety Quality Food Safety and Environment requirements as specified in the global QHSE Management System with strict adherence to ISO and local regulatory authority emphasizing aeronautic quality protocols.

Quality Control

Assist the Line Manager to establish and monitor standards and procedures for quality control for all raw materials & supplies purchased and the products manufactured by the company with a focus quality standard requirement.

Ensure daily execution of quality control activities such as inspection and audit are conducted correctly and on time and confirm there is no escaped defect in daily production emphasizing aeronautic quality control measures.

Ensure and verify inspection and audit reports are validated and updated promptly as per the outlined Quality Management systems (QMS). Analyzing quality data to detect unsatisfactory trends or conditions and weaknesses in the quality system with particular attention to aeronautic quality trends.

Ensure all Quality inspectors adhere to the QMS for workflow to maximize efficiency and minimize errors in QC with specific adherence to aeronautic quality guidelines.

Review and approve the supplier s quality documentation and implement supplier audits as well as per the established and approved raw material standards focusing on aeronautic quality benchmarks.

Ensure all forms and standards for quality control are always updated and all tools and equipment are calibrated. Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and calibration.

Partners with Line Manager in designing and documenting procedures for process control process improvement testing and inspection and conduct periodic reviews to ensure that all quality control processes procedures policies and activities are kept fully up to date and in line with best operational practice and quality standards.

Management of Data Preservation system for handling storage archiving and backingup of all QC data. Documentation of this system should be reported and updated periodically and a report presented to the Line Manager.

Build a strong rapport across functions such as the production team design team and maintenance team in troubleshooting inprocess mold component or assembly problems to help in overcoming such problems in the most economical way without compromising on aeronautic quality.

Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes stability studies recalls corrective actions and revalidations.

Keep senior management abreast of significant developments identified during quality control activities with a specific focus on aeronautic quality insights.

Requirements

Education/ Qualifications

Bachelors Degree/ Diploma in Engineering

• Quality Certifications either Quality Auditor Quality Engineer Quality Improvement Associate Six Sigma
  

Experience

A minimum of 68 years experience working in an Engineering or Quality Engineering role with scope of Quality Control & Assurance Management.

Having process knowledge of aircraft composites and special process.

Functional Skills & Specific Knowledge

Knowledge of Quality control testing and inspection.

Knowledge of tools concepts and methodologies of QA&C.

In depth knowledge of regulated industry standards such as AS9100 ISO 9001

Expertise in implementation of corrective action programs.

Expert knowledge of auditing tools and techniques.

Good analytical and problemsolving skills.

Excellent customer service orientation.
