WHO ARE WE HIRING?
We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer for our smart cities solutions. And with good reason; delivering quality software at speed depends on it. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will work in the core of Development team being constantly obsessed with quality, with a proven record of working effectively across functional organizations, to design, develop and build high-quality software for our end-users.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Play a tech-savvy disrupter role alongside our existing DevOps and Testing expertise and be empowered to advance our infrastructure and tooling
- Contribute to the shaping and constant improvement of our automated testing strategy
- Coordinate and manage testing efforts to ensure the delivery of quality features
- Own the team s mindset of the software quality throughout the development cycle and keep pushing to improve contribute to requirements and planning, pair with engineers for reviewing changes and collaboratively analyze, as well as ship it to our users
- Document new findings / bugs, review, create and automate Test Cases based on these findings and documents
- Actively share your experience and knowledge to mentor others in our QA team and communicate your technical knowledge effectively
- Work with Solution Managers and Architects to analyze & enhance users use cases & requirements for validity and feasibility
- Work and communicate in our collaborative environment. Give and receive feedback to build trust and transparency and elevate your peers
- Use a combined knowledge of computer science and applications, modelling, statistics, analytics, and maths to solve problems
- Communicate important information and insights to business and IT leaders
- Creating new, experimental frameworks to continuously improve solution quality
- Work together with developers and functional testers to enhance the quality of the applications and solutions
- Preparing reports for executive and project teams
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- B.S. or M.S in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or other quantitative fields;
- 3+ years of experience testing and/or delivering high-quality software products operating in agile environments;
- Experience with Load Testing and Security Testing;
- Experience in DevOps tools and automated testing;
- Experience testing distributed systems like microservices in containerized environments;
- Experience with Cloud solutions is a plus;
- Proven testing/development experience in these areas is a plus: large scale IoT solutions, electronic hardware and embedded software;
- Experience in Frontend and Backend testing with the latest tools and industry best practices - Front-end web application test automation (e.g. Selenium WebDriver, Playwright) and REST API testing frameworks;
- Results oriented with track record of achieving established targets;
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written in both native and English languages;
- Hands-on programming experience in languages like Python, Javascript, and Bash is a plus;
- Excellent attention to detail and curiosity.
