Looking for a person having a strong technical knowledge of WordPress application development & CMS concepts, backed with an equally strong hands-on experience. Should be fluent with the design concepts using the latest WordPress as well as be well versed with the best practices in the development, testing & deployment phases.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITY

• Have overall 4-6 years of IT experience on WordPress including latest versions of the CMS.
  
• Write clean, well-designed code and contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
  
• Strong hands-on experience with Web development technologies, including PHP, MySQL , HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
  
• Demonstrated, excellent skills in custom theme creation & customization, plugin development and customization
  
• Knowledge of payment gateway integrations, 3rd party API integrations
  
• Designing and implementing new features and functionality.
  
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
  
• To create own themes based on requirements from HTML scratch.
  
• Have excellent communication, analytical & presentation skills.
  

Requirements

• Building WordPress CMS websites using the best practice & de-facto standard plugins
  
• Expertise in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
  
• Should have a strong working experience in WordPress & PHP.
  
• Good understanding of HOOKS concepts in WordPress.
  
• Should have deliver at least 2-3 major projects in WordPress
  
• Knowledge of customization in themes, templates, plugins and integration and custom post types
  
• Good understanding of cross-platform and cross-browser issues, and web performance optimization.
  
• Experience in developing websites with Multilingual support
  
• Should have experience in web performance optimization
  
• Experience working on other PHP Frameworks like Zend, Core or Laravel would be nice to have.
  
• Would be nice to have experience working on other Front End technology like: React/ AngularJS or similar and other Web technologies.
