Art Intern for GQ Unpaid

The Art Intern is a talented individual with a keen eye for detail who will use his/her advanced creative skills for GQ Middle Easts Editorial & Creative team. The candidate must be willing to learn and be part of the magazine that champions the best in creative talent from across the Middle East North Africa and its diaspora through the lens of culture.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Creative team to fulfill GQ s editorial vision.
  
• Layout pages and making sure the most suitable graphics and photographs are used
  
• Support with artwork creation across digital and marketing channels
  
• Organize and archive content/images and update internal assets.
  
• Create and produce all types of visual art content including motion and videos by using software such as Adobe Premiere After Effects and similar programs
  
• Gather and study the necessary materials and information of articles for publication
  
• Assist in photo shoots and support the Art Direction team
  
• Additional creative tasks as required
  

Qualifications

• Degree in graphic design or enrolled in a relevant degree program
  
• A graduate with previous work experience at least 3 months in related field
  
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite programs such as Photoshop and InDesign preferred
  
• Excellent typography skills and attention to detail with a keen eye for visuals
  
• Strong problemsolving skills and a positive attitude
  
• Willingness to learn new processes and software.
  
• Ability to be organised and work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  
• Detailoriented with excellent communication skills.
  
• Passionate about fashion and culture of the Arab world
