Key Responsibilities
- Managing and leading a team of supervisors in the supervision of financial institutions identified as having an innovative, technology-enabled business model
- Maintain an understanding of all relevant business models and activities ensuring that the appropriate data is collected, organised and analysed to ensure a risk-based approach
- Leading the ongoing development and implementation of supervisory frameworks for innovative, technology-enabled business models
- Support the Director to enhance policies and procedures related to Supervision
- Ensure the team documents, in a timely and complete manner, risk assessments, important communications and other relevant items in management information systems, consistent with departmental requirements, policies and standards
The Associate Director of Supervision will possess excellent people management skills and have experience of managing teams. You will have excellent understanding of the responsibilities and role of the regulator and appreciation of what it means to be a risk-based regulator You will have experience developing regulatory and supervisory standards for innovative and technology-enabled business models, in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its unique characteristics, with specific knowledge of the development of FinTech. You will have excellent ability to work successfully with internal and external stakeholders.
