Objectives
Social objectives will include:
- Continuously improving Transguard’s accommodation welfare facilities/services through CSR Audits
- Developing an on-going portfolio of social events
- Ensuring the value-added spending of the CSR fund
- Identifying and implementing alternative welfare fund revenue streams
- Identifying new products and service providers to further enhance Transguard’s current social welfare offerings
- Managing the communication with Business Units regarding the welfare of their accommodated staff
- Continuously developing and improving the creation and implementation of an organization’s social responsibility objectives
- Developing and implementing reporting structures on the impact of social and environmental programs to management
- Coordinating with Communications and Marketing divisions for internal and external publicity on CSR efforts
- Reporting to the Head of Corporate Social Responsibility: work with Accommodation Managers, the Welfare Team, Supply Chain Management, Marketing Department, and other line management to continuously improve the social welfare at Transguard’s Group accommodations
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, managing and altering social responsibility policies
- Support Marketing and Communications with external and internal communication to reinforce the company’s social responsibility policies and delivering the message of the company’s commitment to social responsibility
- Work on company branding strategies with the marketing department
- With the Head of CSR, manage CSR Strategy implementation across the business including environmental and social programs in coordination with TG CSR policies
- Assist with administrative processes for the CSR team including the procurement process, annual budget process, quarterly reporting and ongoing monitoring of expenses
- Work with government entities and not-for-profit partners to identify partnering opportunities and support networks
- Assist with the continuous improvement of the CSR strategy
- Develop and manage an on-going portfolio of social events across all accommodations (flexible working hours are required)
- Identify and implement new social welfare fund revenue streams
- Ensure CSR events, new products and achievements are marketed effectively around TG in conjunction with the marketing and Communications department
- Hold periodic progress review meetings with BU Heads/CSR Champions to enable 360 feedback, and to provide a customer service focus towards CSR within TG accommodations
- Ensure that the company meets its social and legal obligations in terms of TG residents’ welfare
- Plan and assist Recreation Manager with scheduling national, religious, holiday, and special events for the benefit of the ethnic demographics of TG residents
- Work with Accommodation Managers to maintain and assist with facility amenities, décor, and general suitability to ensure a high level of resident moral
- Assist with resident surveys and monitor resident suggestions, grievances and desires in an effort to continually improve accommodation, amenities and overall standards of living for TG residents
- Manage the welfare fund and fundraising in an effort to provide sufficient finance to cover expenditure of TG residents’ welfare
- Participate in new accommodation and accommodation refurbishment projects to ensure interest of TG residents are considered and accommodated
