Position Overview

They are recruiting an experienced and visionary Project Engineering Manager to lead their Smart City Development team The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the planning design and execution of complex projects that leverage the latest advancements in technology and infrastructure As a Project Engineering Manager you will oversee a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of Smart City initiatives

Job Responsibilities

1. Project Planning and Strategy
   

• Develop and execute project plans ensuring alignment with overall Smart City development goals
  
• Define project scopes objectives and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
  
• Establish and implement project management methodologies to optimize efficiency and resource utilization
  

1. Team Leadership
   

• Lead and motivate a diverse team of engineers architects and technical specialists
  
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages creativity and problemsolving
  
• Provide guidance and support to team members promoting professional growth and development
  

1. Stakeholder Engagement
   

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including government agencies technology partners and community representatives
  
• Ensure effective communication and coordination between all parties involved in project development
  
• Address stakeholder concerns and proactively seek opportunities for collaboration and partnerships
  

1. Technical Expertise
   

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends related to Smart City development
  
• Apply technical expertise to evaluate and select appropriate technologies for specific projects
  
• Provide technical guidance to the team and contribute to the resolution of complex engineering challenges
  

1. Quality Assurance and Compliance
   

• Establish and enforce quality standards for project deliverables
  
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations codes and industry standards
  
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor project performance and identify areas for improvement
  

1. Budget and Resource Management
   

• Develop and manage project budgets ensuring costeffectiveness and resource optimization
  
• Monitor and control project expenses to meet financial objectives
  
• Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to secure necessary resources
  

1. Risk Management
   

• Identify potential risks and develop strategies for risk mitigation 
  
• Implement robust risk management processes to safeguard project success 
  
• Proactively address challenges and adapt project plans as needed
  

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Architecture or a related field Advanced degree preferred
  
• Proven experience in project management with a focus on Smart City development projects
  
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully leading and motivating crossfunctional teams
  
• Indepth knowledge of Smart City technologies urban planning and infrastructure development
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
  
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets timelines and resources effectively
  
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in the Smart City sector
  
• PMP or similar project management certification is a plus
