We offer in-home care in nearly all locations of the valley and surrounding areas. This includes, but is not limited to: Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Gilbert, Mesa, Chandler, Cave Creek, Carefree, and Ahwatukee.


Description:

To qualify for the PRN position, you must be available and on-call for a full 12hrs during the day or overnight to fill in where needed over the weekend. Each 12hr shift will pay $50 plus the hourly rate for any shift that is covered. Guaranteed $50/12hrs of being on-call and available even if you are not called to cover a shift!

The Caregiver/HHA/CNA is responsible for providing high quality, safe and supportive care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. In addition, this individual will assist the patients with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), and other necessary task that are essential to their every day living.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care- Assist with personal hygiene, bathing, showering, and dressing.
  • Mobility- Assist with ambulation, physical therapy exercise and walking inside and outside the home.
  • Meals- Assist with the planning and preparation of meals
  • Housekeeping- perform light housekeeping duties where needed (dishes, bedding, laundry, dust, sweep, mop, etc.).
  • Reminders- Remind clients to take prescription medications and of scheduled appointments.
  • Errands- Complete shopping task or accompany patients while they shop.
  • Transportation- Provide safe and reliable transportation to appointments, shopping, pharmacy and other errands as needed.

Teamwork:

  • Work cooperatively in a one on one setting and providing feedback and updates to office staff as required.
  • Adhere to all company regulations, quality and safety standards.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed.


Requirements

Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to enrich the lives of others in a compassionate and supportive manner.
  • Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
  • Ability to assist clients/patients in an one-on-one environment.
  • Must be able to adapt to changing situations as needed.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and implement proper safety protocols and standards.
  • Must have flexible availability to work different shifts including nights and/or weekends.
  • Ability to quickly and responsively act in emergency situations.

Education, Certification, License:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalency.
  • CPR/First Aid (will provide if needed).
  • DCW Training (will provide if needed).
  • Fingerprint Clearance (will assist in obtaining).
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment.
  • Hoyer Lift Experience (client specific requirement).
  • Valid Driver s License and reliable transportation required.
