Our client is looking for a Restaurant Operations Manager for a Mexican restaurant in Dubai.
What will you do?
- Control profit & loss, by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions
- Set an example in terms of service, products, and guidance of the team that reflects the concept
- Co-ordinate between beverage & kitchen to ensure smooth flow of service
- Manage and oversee the handling of guests, recommendation of food and beverage items, taking orders, and processing and presentation of guest bills
- Communicate any comments, complaints, and suggestions relating to the operation to the F&B Director
- Ensure the proper handling of all equipment as well as its cleanliness and state of maintenance
- Utilize the guest feedback to improve service standards and create and maintain a guest history file
- Ensure that all bills have been closed off at the end of the day and ensure each cash-up is complete
- Conduct monthly inventory of operating supplies and equipment together with the restaurant team
What are we looking for?
- A degree in hospitality management or a relevant field
- Prior experience in lifestyle/upscale venues is a MUST
- Excellent communication & customer service skills
- Ability to lead big groups of people
