Senior Craftsman

We are looking for a Senior Craftsman – Mechanical (Hydraulic). The ideal candidate must be well experienced in trouble shooting the repairing of hydraulic systems.

Location: Dubai

Salary: AED 8000

Responsibilities

• Implementation and follow up of safety management plan and environment standards.
• Completes maintenance work on mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic equipment and systems
• Performs checks and adjustments on any mechanical equipment whenever necessary or as per the instruction.
• Strips down mechanical equipment efficiently. Identifies and reports any abnormalities. Repairs and / or replaces any item required and re-assembles the equipment, leaving the working area clean.
• Carry out all the PM’S, running inspections & checklists on a daily basis, as per maintenance planning requirements.
• Attends to all equipment breakdowns and planned maintenance work with minimum direction and supervision within the time constraints given, and reduces production downtime.
• Initiates replacement of worn out or failed components / parts in a safe manner.
• Provides guidance and expertise to other divisions whenever required.
• Monitors repeated breakdowns and undertakes proper action to resolve the problems using CMMS.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the same industry.
• Well experienced in trouble shooting and repairing of hydraulic systems
• Maintenance of heavy machinery or general fitting skills in an engineering industry
• Ability to read and understand basic drawings, service manuals and job content instructions
• Experience in Maintenance/lubrication on various equipments and heavy equipments.
