• Teach, guide, and develop undergraduate and postgraduate students in hospitality and business management.
• Conduct research applied to the needs of the hospitality and leisure industry, entrepreneurship, innovation, and its integration into a sustainable society. Supervise students and accompany them in their projects and research projects.
• Any other duties such as service to the institution as may reasonably be requested by the management.
• Carry out any other duties commensurate with the scale and grade of the post.
• Comply and enforce academic policies in place, e.g., programme review programme standards, goal setting, appraisal forms, finance claim forms, etc. and ensure all staffing records are kept up to date.
• Engage in scholarly activities including conferences and seminars to disseminate the results of research conducted at the EAHM.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous professional development and excellence in teaching and learning.
• Manage academic programme, teaching faculty and students. Maintain programme quality assurance standards.
• Provide a secure, safe, challenging, and friendly learning environment.
• Present Professional Development Courses to facilitate the development of our industry colleagues.
