Integration & Microservices - Lead Developer

Our client, a global IT consulting firm is hiring Lead developers with hands on experience in Microservice and Integration whichpossesses techno functional skills to facilitate complete life cycle of software delivery activities like Requirements gathering, Impact analysis, Development, SIT & UAT across ESB, API integration and microservices solution deliveries

.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute projects for specialized areas in surrounding applications like middleware, API Gateways and Microservices.
• Do detailed requirements gathering and impact check though meetings/face to face discussions if needed
• Develop and own the creation and delivery of Microservices patterns and API interfaces
• Use Agile engineering practices and various software and web development technologies to rapidly develop creative and efficient solutions that enhance the client customer and employee experience
• Prepare functional specifications and obtaining sign offs from stake holders
• Ensure User Acceptance Test (UAT) and approvals obtained for production release. Interact with users for all sanity/UAT issues till closure
• Prepare and maintain process documentation
• Ensure strict compliance with agreed deadlines. Plan, execute, and finalize assignments according to strict deadlines.
• Knowledge of MQ Integration with SWIFT, Screening Web Services with Other applications and Query writing to extract required data
• Responsible for Implementation of new projects in Local Currency Platforms/Foreign
• Currency Platforms/Reporting/Automation/Middleware/API Connect areas
• Investigate and understand the cause of defect raised, ability to identify RCA

Requirements

• 5+ years strong programming and support experience with minimum 3 years of Banking domain
• Excellent programming skills in at least 2 modern programming languages/ frameworks, such as Node.JS, Spring Boot, Go Lang, Elixir, Ruby on Rails, C, C++, Python, or others.
• Excellent working knowledge of modern frontend framework (ReactJS, AngularJS)
• Excellent knowledge of SQL and one common database technology, such as Oracle, MySQL.
• Infrastructure knowledge including RESTful APIs, LDAP, Search Technologies
• Real passion for development and a demonstrated appetite for continual learning
• Knowledge of pair programming, continuous integration and test-driven development
• Familiarity with the concepts and pattern choices for Microservices is a must
• Experiences with code refactoring, design patterns, design-driven development, continuous deployment, highly scalable applications, application security
• Working knowledge of DevOps, Pipeline, Docker, Kubernetes and infrastructure as code
• Working knowledge and experience in developing and exposing APIs using API Connect
• Experience with at least one-unit testing framework (i.e MochaJS, RSpec)
• Knowledge of payment flows and payment processes desirable
• Knowledge on ISO20022, MT/MX formats, Central Bank UAE payment product is desirable
• Willing to work on a Contractual role
