Our client, a premier medical facility, is currently looking for an Infection Control Nurse, with sound know regarding KPI, DOH audit, JCI audit, to be based in Abu Dhabi.
- Implementing best practices for halting the spread of viruses and bacteria and delivers top care to patients who have contracted infectious diseases
- Overseeing all infection control and prevention related activities within the organization
- Coordinating infection control activities including surveillance, proactive approaches to reduce infection risks.
- Ensuring all cases of communicable diseases are reported to the appropriate authorities and maintain records.
- Strive to maintain current knowledge, advising the committee, the organization of new and emerging infection control practices
- Provides consultation and education to all staff of the hospital in respect to Infection Prevention & Control
- Review and develop Infection Prevention and Control policy and procedure as required
Requirements
To be considered, you need to meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of two (2) years recent experience as Infection Control Nurse
- Experience leading JCI, JAWDA, TASNEEF and DOH audits from infection control point of view.
- Bachelors degree holder in Nursing
- Proof of valid registration from the home country or an international recognized body is required.
- Valid DoH/DHA License or eligibility for DoH licensing required.
- Post Grad Diploma in Infection control (advantageous)
- BLS certificate is mandatory, PALS and ACLS (desirable)
