The Manager of partnerships & distributors management is responsible for managing and building sustainable, growth oriented and profitable partnerships with third party organizations and distributors and enhancing the company’s distribution network in the local and global market. The role requires a strategic thinker who is comfortable in managing relationships with external partners with advanced analytical skills and must have an entrepreneurial mind-set to identify and develop partnerships to ensure financial growth and profitability for the company.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop complete roadmap and strategy of company’s distribution network enhancements in local and global market.
  •  Have P&L responsibility for the distribution and partnership business.
  • Manage growth of existing partnerships and distributors.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the company including Product, IT, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Risk and Compliance to deliver customized products, agreements and services related to distributors.
  • Responsible for driving, leading and coordinating AUM growth (new business and retention) of the product range distributed through third parties and distributors.
  • Be the lead on distributors relationship governance, supported by various internal departments who collaborate to ensure the partnership is effective and operational.
  • Collaborate with marketing to build, develop and execute market facing promotions to ensure a clear and consistent face to the market.
  • Deliver and manage strategic plans, annual operating plans and sales targets (local & international), maximizing opportunities for business growth and profitability to NBC from partners and distributors.
  • Work with distributors service teams to ensure that the activities of the partnerships adhere to the terms and conditions of the distributors agreements, including service level agreements, and ensure that each partnership maintains its regulatory compliance.
  • Attend key events, exhibitions and seminars to enhance business.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge & Competencies

Knowledge

  • Effective team management and relationship building skills.
  • Drive for superior performance and ability to focus activities which will have positive impact on sales, retention and customer satisfaction levels.
  •  Creative problem-solver with the ability to adapt and respond to changing priorities
  • Preferably bi-lingual (English / Arabic) in written and oral.
  • Excellent communication, negotiating and selling skills.
  • Time management; project management and business reporting skills.
  •  Socially adept and able to liaise effectively with a wide range of contacts
  • Able to effectively establish a network of contacts within the UAE
  •  Market, competitors and commercial business knowledge.

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years Distribution and Partnership 
  •  Experience within Financial Services/Insurance is a must

Conditions to Apply

  • Completion of 12 months in current position
  • Good performance rating 3 and above for 2021 performance year 
  • Clear conduct history with no active warinings 
  • position will be open for 2 weeks
