A well-known non-profit is seeking to hire an Administrative Assistant to support the Chief Equity and Inclusion Officer and the department. This is a straightforward administrative position that is looking for someone with 2+ years of relevant experience. Additionally, the ideal candidate has previous experience working closely with C-Suite and a background in the health care or non-profit field.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing and copying to management
- Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
- Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence
- Perform data entry and scan documents
- Manage calendar and scheduling for Manager.
- Assist in resolving any administrative problems.
- Answer calls from customers and employees regarding their inquiries
- Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements for Manager
- Maintain office supplies for the office.
Requirements

- High school diploma is required.
- Ability to type a minimum of 50 WPM.
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook a must
- Knowledge of operating standard office equipment. ( ie. Fax, copy machine, etc.)

- Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem solving skills
- Good research skills and attention to detail
