Responsible for the safe preparation and handover of equipment, authorisation of permits and ensuring that recognised safe work practices, procedures and standards are followed by all personnel. f. Plans unit shutdown & equipment handover schedules and manpower requirements to minimize unit downtime and prevent schedule over run. g. Applies engineering knowledge and principles coupled with operating experience to solve operational problems, improve operating methods and eliminate process restrictions or deficiencies.
