Job Description:
Our client, a manufacturer and supplier for the automotive industry, is seeking a Financial Director, who will report directly to the Managing Director, who will play a vital role in managing all resources within the Finance and Information Technology Departments ensuring short- and long-term viability of the company by meeting shareholder and company objectives, targets and subsequent
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the administrative, financial and risk management operations of the Company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, and the on-going development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve Company assets and report accurate financial
- Serve as a member of the executive team and participate in key decisions pertaining to strategic initiatives, operating model and operating
- Oversee Financial Accounting to ensure proper maintenance of all accounting systems and
- Ensure maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial
- Final point of escalation for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Ensure all month-end closing activities including control account reconciliation, integrities and reconciliations are in
- Prepare Annual Financial Statements in accordance with Group Policies and
- Key point of contact for External and Internal Auditors – manage preparation and support of all
- Develop cash flow forecasting and maintain long term cash
- Manage on-going banking relationship for maximum
- Oversee Management Accounting to ensure the integrity and accuracy of
- Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective action plans; minimizing the impact of
- Develop regular reporting and analysis, including key metrics reports, and conduct ad hoc financial analysis as
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the Company inventory
- Manage the Company’s foreign exchange exposure in accordance with group hedging
- Develop on-going financial business plans, models and forecasts together with the analysis expertise to the
- Lead the financial modelling and analysis to support the development of long-term strategic initiatives and business
- Develop IRR and NPV models and provide the financial analysis to assist with feasibility
- Co-ordinate the activities of the Risk Committee and maintain the Risk Register
- Oversee the maintenance of the inventory of all fixed
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial
- Ensure appropriate legal review of contracts and solicit external legal advice as

Requirements: Qualification and Skill
- CA
- CIMA
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a Senior Financial Accounting
